Stuffed Peppers

One of our all time favorite go to recipe, that's easy on those busy nights and that everyone loves.

>Pre-heat oven 450
>Three large green peppers
>One onion
>One Jalapeno pepper. If you like a hotter pepper, choose a less fresh looking pepper with white lines and more wrinkled and dry. If you like it less hot choose a fresher looking pepper, with a more waxy plump look and no white lines.

Spices
>Basil 1 1/2 tbsp.
>Oregano 1 1/2 tbsp.
>Cayenne Pepper 1 1/2 tbsp.
>Cumin 1 1/2 tbsp.

Wash peppers, slice in halves and set aside. *remove seeds
Chop onion and jalapeno pepper *wash this baby too
Saut'e onion and pepper *we use coconut oil
In the same pan that you are saut'eing in now add ground beef and the dry spices. Make sure not to over cook the meat, because we will be finishing off this meal in the oven. *brown the meat
Always remember, LOW & SLOW!!
Stuff the peppers and cook middle shelf 20 plus minutes. When the peppers are browned around the edges they are done.

My family likes rice as our side.

Enjoy!
