It was so neat to see Grandfathers, 1938 McCormick manure spreader working again. We cleaned out the lot that is used to work cattle and spread the manure on the garden. This was the first time that I have ever witnessed the spreader in action, without hesitation, it went right to work as if it was back in the 30's. The spreader came with both horse and tractor implements, although Grandfather only used the spreader with the tractor. It also had a little seat that was in the front that was to be used when pulled by horse.
